HUMILITY: The basis of creation

"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."
James 4:6 KJV

In all the translations, the word 'grace' was mentioned in all except GOD'S WORD and CEV  translation. Among the translations: the NIV, ESV, BSB, NKJV, KJB,
ISV, NHEB, Aramaic Bible in plain English, AKJV, ASV, DBT, ERV, WBT, WEB emphasized 'More grace' in the beginning of the sentences of the verse. While other translations such as YLT, DB, JB 2000, NAS 1977, NET Bible, HCS Bible, CSB, NASB, BLB emphasized 'greater grace'.

Meditating on these verse, the 'more grace' and ' greater grace' lays emphasis on the word humility. The writer stresses the importance God places highly on humility. It was through humility God  condescendingly created mankind and give them free will. I have a question: Why would God create something that he knows would eventually go against him but still sacrificed his own dear son to save us? What character is basis of this choice?

The answer is in the above Bible passage;
the writer realized the humility of God behind his works and therefore stressed the words 'detests' or 'hate' referring to the proud which is a very strong word.

What does grace mean?

Grace from the Wiktionary definition states:
Free and undeserved favour, especially of God; unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification, or for resisting sin.

Now from James 4:6 it's inference is that the humble will receive much more grace than those that are not; irrespective of the grace given to us naturally through the death of Christ, the humble will derive much more due to lowliness.

The humble touches the heart of God directly. Humility creates a direct  pathway for mankind to God. Humility represents a beautiful garden blossomed gently by the gardener. The humble is synonymous to a beautiful garden and the gardener is God almighty.

The basis of creation is humility.
